There are very few beauty products that have stood the test of time in regards to my favorites. As someone who loves to try new things, it's rare that I continually buy the same product time after time. Sure, I've gone through mascara and foundation phases, but usually after the second or third time buying something, I'm ready for something new.
That logic does not apply to this particular product.
When I first found out about the Clé de Peau Concealer about 10 years ago, I knew that I had to have it. My dark under eye circles have always been my biggest beauty pain point and for that reason concealer is my all time favorite product to test and try. If I'm putting one makeup item on, it's going to be concealer, so wouldn't it just be natural for me to fall head over heels for a $75 concealer that is like a magic eraser?
No one wants to spend $75 on a concealer but when it's this good, when it lasts you years (well past the expiration date), you do it.

I just repurchased my fourth tube of this magic stick so I figured it was the perfect time for a review.
As I've said, I've been using this product for 10 years and it never fails me. It covers my dark circles better than anything I've ever tried before, to the point where sometimes when I put it on, I don't even recognize myself because it covers them so well. I almost don't look like me with how heavily they are concealed.

The product itself is a medium to full coverage and a cream base; I've come to prefer a cream concealer over anything else because I find they are not only the easiest to use but the least creasing and offer the most coverage.

Clé de Peau concealer is a very simple product -- just apply it straight from the stick onto the desired area and blend out. It's incredibly lightweight and feels weightless on the skin, unlike other full coverage concealers that can feel a little goopy.
The interesting thing about the concealer is that it's build to blend and adhere to textured or raised skin which makes it the ideal concealer for all skin types, even if you don't have horrendous dark circles to cover up.
This formula is also my favorite for spot concealing because of how hydrating and high coverage it is; just a small dab onto the blemish and it blends out into nothing, even blurring the raised bump if that's the type of acne you're dealing with.
That's another thing that I love -- the blurring properties that are baked into this formula. Your skin still looks like skin, with just a touch of radiance and an instant blur effect so all imperfections are covered.
In addition to all of that, the Clé de Peau concealer has an SPF 27 which isn't important to me, but it is a nice added benefit. You could always use the extra sun protection, especially around the delicate eye area.
This truly is my everyday warrior; I wear it to work, to weddings, to dinner, even when I'm just at home and want to look a little more alive. It's the easiest concealer I've ever used and the best at concealing my dark circles without a color corrector underneath.
All in all, if you need a really good everyday concealer to hide dark circles, dark spots or blemishes, Clé de Peau will be the best money you have ever spent. You will become addicted, so don't say I didn't warn you.
