I can't believe we have a little more than 1 week left until 2025. It sounds like such a fake year, I can't believe it's actually happening. I feel like we're all trudging to the finish line, but at the same time, it feels so far away.
As I write this, New York is covered in our first snowfall of the year and it feels so good. I woke up before the sun this morning and because I laid in bed for hours, with my blinds drawn shut so I didn't realize it had snowed until my sister texted me asking if we had an ice scraper in the car. I love snow so much, I love the winter and what it symbolizes so the fact that it snowed on the winter solstice felt so kismet.
This weekend I need to finish wrapping presents, do some food shopping and try to squeeze in as much Christmas tidings as I could.
Let's get into the roundup...
Pink Positivity of the Week
I work on 5th Avenue in Manhattan which lends itself to a horrible commute for the month of December, however, I took advantage of it this week when I took the 'long route' to my bus stop and stopped to see all the Christmas lights and displays. It made me so happy, to take a minute and take in my beautiful city. Tiffany's, Louis Vuitton, Bergdorf Goodman's and the Plaza put such a smile on my face.
