Happy December! How is it the end of the year? How is 2025 around the corner? This might be the fastest year on record. What's really confusing me is how is it going to be the 5 year anniversary of the beginning of the pandemic? This is so deeply concerning that I can't seem to wrap my head around it.
November was a great month; I felt super clear, present and empowered. It felt like I was waking up from a very long nap, which is such an interesting feeling that I can't really put it into words.
This month was really focused on getting back to a routine, doing things that made me feel good and finally accomplishing items on my to-do list that I've been putting off for a while. And all of that comes to fruition in my November favorites.
WTHN Acupressure Mat
At the beginning of the year I implemented a really nice unwind/wellness routine at the end of my days, and it made me feel so good. I would use my red light therapy mask, my hand massager and my WHTN acupressure mat. At some point, I stopped the nightly routine and it was this month that I realized I needed to bring it back. The WTHN Acupressure Mat is painful yet refreshing. At first it hurts, but then after a few seconds, it feels oddly soothing. I lay it on for the length of my red light mask and afterwards I just feel better. My body hurts less, I feel more relaxed and chill...it's one of the best items I own.
Kerastase Haircare
I've been using the same shampoo and conditioner for a while now; I would alternate between different brands and types occasionally but I've been loyal to the Verb Ghost Shampoo and Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask. Over the past few months, I've noticed my hair is thinning and I've been shedding a lot. It's most likely a side effect of a medication I'm on but it was starting to really worry me. So, I decided it was time to take my haircare a little more seriously and I invested in a ton of Kerastase product. Kerastase is used in my salons and my sister uses it, so I know it's really good and I've been wanting to try their products for a while. I decided to splurge during the Sephora sale and bought the Nutritive Hydrating Gift Set that came with a shampoo, conditioner & heat protectant/blow dry spray. I bought another set that had the hair oil elixir and the 8H Magic Night Serum, which I've been dying to try for months. All of these products have given me a hair transformation; the first time I used them, my mom asked me if I got my hair done. It looks sleeker, less frizzy, and feels stronger. There's less damage and breakage, and I'm just obsessed. I will never use anything else!
The Bar Sweatshirts
Last year I gave into the ridiculous trend of The Bar sweatshirts. Yes, it is kind of ridiculous to wear a shirt that says The Bar, because that doesn't really mean anything even if it is the brand name, but I don't care. These are the most comfortable sweatshirts I own. They fit perfectly too, which is so weird because they're oversized but I like how I look in them. I get a size large so it's oversized but still semi fits; they also shrink a bit in the wash so it's better safe than sorry. I only have two of them but during the next restock I'm going to need another one. I've been living in them and I just can't get enough.
Amazon Bow Hooks
I'm cheating with these because I only just hung them last week before Thanksgiving but I need to talk about them. I've had these bow hooks in my Amazon cart for months and at one point a few months ago, had tried to order them but they got lost in the mail. I finally repurchased them and hung them in my office for my scarves, and oh my goodness I am obsessed with how they look! The extra texture on my walls really adds something to the room that was missing, and I love that it's something else on my wall besides a mirror or photo. It really brought my whole office together and I wasn't expecting it. I got additional hooks for the other side of my shelves and they look so cute.
What did you love this month?
xoxo
