September passed by in the blink of an eye as did the entire year. I cannot believe we're in October and weirdly enough, it feels like it's almost over. September was pretty good; it was chaotic and messy, it was busy and fun and I know October is going to be exactly the same...it already is.
Last weekend after I got home from my trip to California for work, I embarked on one of the busiest weekends I've ever had; from engagement dinners to sweet 16s and baptisms, I stayed very busy and it was actually a lot of fun. I didn't have time to think about how tired I was or nervous about having enough down time to decompress. The more I kept moving, the better it felt which is a good lesson for me.
September was a good favorites month too; I had a lot of new items, some rediscovered favorites and I think October will probably be even better.
rhode Glazing Milk
I've had this milky toner for a while and I've always really enjoyed it but the past few weeks, I've been using it a lot more consistently before I apply my makeup and holy smokes, does it make a difference. It's super hydrating on the skin, quick absorbing and creates the perfect, smooth & supple base for makeup. My skin is more hydrated, calmer and smoother; my skin feels like what I imagine Mrs. Bieber's feels like and for that, I'm grateful.
Burberry Glasses
This might be a strange favorite but I'm obsessed! I was itching for a new pair of glasses for fall; I wanted something big, bold and dark brown. A lot of my glasses have been black, pink or beige in the past and I really wanted something new. After virtually trying on multiple pairs, I decided to go with these Burberry frames. They make such a statement, they look beautiful and give the look I was looking for.
Friendship Bracelets
We're less than 2 weeks away from my Eras Tour concert and it doesn't even feel real. I started to make friendship bracelets this month and while I thought the process was going to be tedious and boring, I found it to be incredibly soothing and a lot of fun. I sat myself in front of my television and strung together all of my Swift sayings. I might have to continue this post concert as a new hobby!
What did you love this month?
xoxo
