What a week! I feel like I say that every week but it has been insanely busy the past few days. Work is very busy and once work is over, I feel like I never slow down - I had writing to do, freelance social clients, the blog, reading, and just life in general.
I'm off today for a doctor's appointment but I'll be running errands in between. I feel like I have so much to do, all the time, and there's just never enough hours in the day. I guess that is a good thing; I do enjoy being busy because then it makes the relaxing moments so much more enjoyable.
This weekend, well I'm not even sure what I'll be doing but I know part of me will be relaxing, writing, planning, and setting goals for February since it starts on Monday! I can't believe we're one month into 2021 already... so much has happened but there's still so much time in front of us.
One thing I really want to do in the coming weeks is watch something new on Netflix, or just watch whatever show people are talking about. I love pop culture & love television but lately I find myself just wanting to watch shows and movies I've seen before. It took me weeks to watch Bridgerton -- a month actually, since I just binged it last weekend.
I did really like it... did I love it? Maybe. Am I obsessed with it? Not really but I kind of want to be. It has everything I love: old England, royalty, love, friendships, gossip, British people. It's perfect basically. I'm already wanting to rewatch it so maybe I love it more than I thought. I also purchased the e-book this week of the first novel, which I think matches up to the first season so that'll be interesting to read.
We will see, won't we?
Let's get into the good stuff of the week!
I went to the Stoney Clover store in the West Village and picked up a few store exclusive items like stickers, a mug, and a Carrie Bradshaw patch! |
