Another day, another disgusting tragedy. What we saw on Wednesday of this week was not normal. It was horrifying and I never thought I'd see domestic terrorism play out that way. What is even worse is that not a ton of people were surprised; I'm not sure if that's because we knew it was going to happen or because we're used to the circus that is the United States but it was sad not to be shocked by it.
I was also sad that it was expected of everyone to just move on with their days like it was normal. Teachers kept teaching, businesses stayed open, we all kept working... all while Covid wreaked havoc for another day. It was just upsetting on so many levels.
However, I am hopeful that things will get better. I have to hold onto some positivity otherwise I will find myself in a horrible place.
I won't ramble on too much longer, let's just get into the post.
