Royal Round Up, Vol 2: Week 51

Happy Sunday! Happy 3 days until Christmas! I am so excited I can hardly contain it... but also sad because my favorite seasons are ending (even though winter began yesterday). I can't wait to relax, bake, and open presents (and also give all the presents I picked out). I'm also excited for some time 'off' work aka I'm working from home starting tomorrow until New Year's Eve. It'll be nice to have that time away from the office but still get things done.

Tomorrow I start baking for Christmas and I think that is my favorite part, the preparation for the holiday. Christmas Eve is the big day at my house as I think it is for most Italian families and then Christmas Day I'll go to my aunts for a lowkey dinner.

I also cannot believe that not only is the year coming to an end but the decade as well. I feel like it's a really big deal but not a lot of people are talking about it. This was probably the most life-changing decade that I might ever experience, in both good and bad ways. I want to take the time to reflect and really learn from the things I went through over the past 10 years.

I'm also ready to hunker down and set some goals for the new year (and decade) and really try to stick to them. We'll see how that goes.
