However, I controlled myself much more than I often do and it felt really good... felt really good to be in control of my spending and not clog up my room with so much stuff.
Aside from that, I had a splendid long weekend and looking forward to the Christmas season!
Today, I want to talk about my current favorite beauty products. I've been doing this post for the last few months and really love it because I can talk at length about the products that have been making me feel human. I'll admit, for the past few weeks, my makeup game has been very light. I have been waking up and putting nothing on my face and heading straight into work.
Besides that, there are still a few products that I've been using whenever I do my makeup and in my opinion, they're pretty life-changing.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector
When I found out that the Queen was releasing a color corrector, I bugged out. I ordered it the first day it was available and honestly have not been using anything else since. I love a good under-eye corrector because my under-eye circles are deadly and make me look like I got punched in the face. I've tried a lot of different correctors and while they've all been good and at one point, my favorite, nothing else beats the CT one. It is very lightweight, very creamy, but not sticky or tacky. I apply it with my finger and gently pat it under my eyes, and in an instant, my eyes are bright and beautiful -- dark circles are gone. It's light enough to wear on your own (if you wish) but looks exceptional under makeup. I've worn it with a few different foundations & concealers and it looks beautiful under all of them. I think this might be my favorite beauty product of 2019. *I have the shade fairBoing Cakeless Concealer by Benefit Cosmetics
In the same category as the corrector, I've been loving the Boing Cakeless Concealer by Benefit! I had my eye on it since it was released but finally purchased it a few weeks ago. It's the only concealer I've been using and boy, is it full coverage. Whether or not I use it with my CT Corrector, it covers my under eyes and blemishes perfectly. I have the shade 3 which is a little light but it's still nice to highlight and brighten my under-eyes. It has similar coverage to Shape Tape but not as creamy, which can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. I've been really enjoying it and recommend for those who have really dark circles and need something a little heavy duty.
Stash by SJP
I have talked about this fragrance a few times before but every year, I fall in love with it all over again. I have a little bit left and I cannot get enough... I'm using every last drop. It is a masculine, yet soft scent that is filled with cedarwood, pistachio, and something called Vetiver. The perfume is perfectly described as woodsy which is ideal for this time of year. I need another bottle, ASAP!IGK First Class Charcoal Dry Shampoo
Dry shampoo is one of my favorite products to try. I love testing different ones out to see what is best for my hair. I have thick, frizzy hair and a very sensitive scalp; my hair doesn't get greasy too often but sometimes it just needs a refresh. Enter: IGK. I discovered this shampoo a few months ago and recently repurchased. There is just nothing better than this dry shampoo! It doesn't just mask the oil but really makes your hair feel clean; it comes out strong in a good way and doesn't leave any white cast. It doesn't irritate my scalp either which is probably one of my number one must-haves in a dry shampoo. If you need something heavy-duty to keep your hair looking it's best, you need to at least try the IGK First Class Charcoal Dry Shampoo.Don't forget to enter my giveaway!
