It is officially, unofficially summer and I'm already counting down the days until it's fall but what else is new? I have a strong feeling this summer is going to go by really fast because I have so many things to do. There are a lot of bridal showers, weddings, and other parties which is great because I feel like my summer is planned for me without even trying.
May went by pretty slowly, in my opinion, which I am fine with because I cannot fathom how we are already halfway through 2022. May also brought a slow down in my shopping; I really got my act together this month and stopped myself from impulse shopping many times. That being said, all my favorites I've had for a little bit and I rediscovered them this month.

Dior Addict Lip Glow in Rosewood
Dior beauty has been having a huge moment and I am here for it! Dior has some of the best makeup I've ever tried and the viral Lip Glow balm is well-deserving of the hype. I've had the 'Pink' shade for a while and when people started talking more about the Lip Glows I knew I needed to pick up another shade. I purchased 'Rosewood', which is a great brown/neutral shade with a hint of pink I loved it when I first purchased it but this month it has been my go-to shade. I take it with me everywhere and apply it whenever I need a hint of color or when my lips feel a little dry. It's the perfect everyday lip color because it's not overpowering, slippery, or sticky. The Dior Addict Lip Glows are well worth every penny if you love lip balm and want something extra special.
Replica Under the Lemon Trees
I have been obsessed with Replica fragrances for a little bit and when I discovered the scent "Under the Lemon Trees" last summer I was smitten. I used the entire travel size fragrance up over the months and when the weather started to turn warm this year I knew I wanted the full size. I purchased it at the end of April and have been using it pretty much everyday. It is the most beautiful, light lemon scent that gives you that spring and summer feeling without being overpowering. It's nice to have a fragrance that isn't too beachy or fruity or clean for the warm weather and to wear something a little more unique. It definitely smells of lemons but you almost have to wait a beat to figure out what the scent is. It is divine!
Amazon Treadmill
It was the beginning of the year when I felt like I needed a new type of workout. I was feeling bloated, out of sorts and I wanted something easier and more carefree than the stationery bike I had purchased the year before. This is around the time I started seeing walking pads or no-incline treadmills going viral on Tiktok and I knew that was what I was looking for. I purchased this treadmill from Amazon (it's no longer available but here is a similar one) and immediately fell in love. It was so easy to set up, use and because it is in the center of my living room, it forces me to walk for at least 30 minutes a day. It goes up to 7 mph, has no incline, and you can use it as an actual walking pad but I like to have the handle bars up because I will fall. If you feel like you need something in your house to force you to exercise, I cannot recommend these treadmills/walking pads enough.
Good Notes App
Even though I live and breath by a paper planner I have always wanted to get into digital planning. I felt like the possibilities with a digital planner on my iPad were truly endless and I wanted to be cool and efficient. Because of this, I purchased the Good Notes app a while ago along with some digital planners from Etsy but I could never get the hang of using the Apple pencil and making everything look neat and organized. Well, after not giving up and continually using digital planners and writing in the Good Notes app, I have become much better at using the app and all the digital planners that come along with it. Good Notes has become my most used iPad app and I love how easy it is to organize and just jot down notes or lists in their specific 'notebooks'. As much as I love actual notebooks and list pads it's nice to not have to think about what notebook is for certain topics and have things in one place.
What did you love in the month of May?
