This felt like a very long month with many ups and downs. It might've been the most difficult month for me since quarantine started and I'm happy that it's over. I'm also excited for Fall, obviously but because August was so difficult, I'm finding it hard to get into the fall spirit. I realized a lot this month and I'm hoping that I could make the changes I need to make to be who I want to be.
We're entering my favorite time of the year and even with all the bad stuff that has happened this year, I really want to try to find a way to enjoy it all. We shall see how that goes!
For now, I want to get into my favorites of the month; some might seem random but they're all my favorites.
Newsletters
While the news has been stressing me out it's still important to me to be informed. I've always loved newsletters, mostly theSkimm and The Newsette but lately I have found a few more newsletters that I enjoy reading in the morning: The Morning Brew is a new one for me and it's so informative. It covers a lot of different areas, is well written and interesting to read. They also have other niche newsletters that cover retail, tech and lifestyle news. I love starting my morning reading newsletters and drinking my coffee to know what the day is going to bring.
iPad Mini
I've mentioned this favorite before but I have to mention it again. I have been obsessed with my iPad Mini for months but this month especially. I love the compact design, the portability of it, and the versatility of it. I've been experimenting with digital planners and the iPad mini is great for this. Other ways I use my iPad mini is for reading and social media -- similar to how I use my phone. I'd also like to try to find new ways to use it but I will never be without an iPad, they're the best!
